Robert J Grange, III. Chief Executive Officer.
Bob Grange brings to QC2 more than 30 years of project, production and business
leadership having previously developed his skills as a key project resource at
the Aetna Bridge Company, one-time parent company to QC2. Bob joined QC2 in
1999 when he was brought in to lead a major contract QC2 had secured from Kiewit
Construction in association with the Level 3 national fiber backbone project.
Since 1999, Bob has held increasingly more visible and responsible positions
with the Company, assuming executive control of QC2 in April of 2004 when the
Company was acquired by Chutehall Construction. During his tenure at QC2 Bob
has been responsible for delivering more than 5,000 projects on time and
on-budget, and has been solely responsible for driving the company’s operational
and financial performance since 2003. Before entering the private sector, Bob
Grange was a member of the United States Marine Corps.
Dennis
diBattista. President, US Sales and Business Development. Dennis diBattista is
a veteran of the broadband-on-demand and competitive local exchange carrier
industries, having established a strong record of fortune 1000 sales and
large-scale network infrastructure installation and project management.
diBattista is no stranger to QC2, having been one of the original members to
start the company in early 1998 and led the company as its President until
mid-2002 when he left to lead a wireless spin-off, QGO. In 2003 QGO
was acquired by ICOA, where diBattista was Vice President of Sales and then
Chief Operating Officer. While at ICOA diBattista was responsible for
increasing the QGO book of business more than 900% from the 2003
acquisition, and for leading the ICOA’s sales team to grow the total number of
locations under management in the entire portfolio by 260%, and increasing the
number of unique customers subscribing to the company’s services by more than
150%. Prior to 1998 diBattista was General Manager of Brooks Fiber Properties'
Rhode Island office, and then Vice President of Operations for Telergy. In
these positions diBattista oversaw the installation of more than $40 million in
fiber optic plant, transmission and switching equipment and over 350 miles of
underground and aerial network construction. diBattista holds a B.A. from
Boston University, an M. A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A.
from the University of Rhode Island.
Stephen C. Maaz. Business Manager & Controller. Steve has been part of the QC2 team starting in
1999 when he first joined the company as the purchasing and materials manager.
Back then, Steve provided logistics support on more than 30,000 hours of
installation sales in projects occurring in more than 20 states. In 2002 Steve
took on an even more challenging role when he left QC2 for a period of time to
be an interim principal of a private school in Rhode Island. Fortunately
for QC2, his assignment concluded in 2005 and Steve returned to QC2 in his
current position of Business Manager & Controller
Steve's background is in education, first as a science and math
teacher, and then as a principal.
His math and education background continues to be a good fit for the
growing business needs of QC2. Steve received his B.A. at South
Eastern College in Lakeland, FL and resides in Warwick, RI.
